Susanne is a non-contentious commercial property lawyer specialising in transactional work such as selling and buying commercial and mixed-use buildings (vacant or tenanted), commercial leases and buying and selling businesses as going concerns. Prior to joining Aria Grace Law CIC, she founded and ran her own successful law practice Wellesley Law for 10 years and prior to that, worked in law firms in the City of London acting for developers on site acquisitions, acting for landlords and tenants in matters relating to new leases, assignments and lease renewals, dealing with auction sales and purchases, and acting for investment companies in the sales and purchases of commercial buildings. She also advises restaurant operators, from casual dining to high end, in the opening of restaurants whether as standalone concepts or as part of their brand expansion. She also acts for residential landlords and tenants on statutory lease extensions and collective enfranchisement cases.
Curious by nature, Susanne likes to listen to her clients about their businesses so she can think ahead of the potential challenges. She believes in providing a professional and efficient service regardless of the size of the client, and is particularly good with start-ups and small businesses who often encounter difficulties in finding good representation.
