Upon their merger and transition into CLS Services, he established and led a best-in-class group commercial function for the business. He oversaw multi-year, high-value procurement contracts, including large-scale outsourcing agreements.
In 2010, David joined Deutsche Bank, and over the course of the following five years, he spearheaded the transformation of procurement practices and commercial management for multiple divisions, primarily in the Application Development and Infrastructure space with portfolios of up to $4BN TCV. Significant wins were achieved in quality, time-to-market, cost and transition risk management through his strategic input and operational subject matter expertise on the most complex, high-value and high-risk procurement initiatives. Latterly, he spent three years at UBS, where he played a key role in driving cost savings, improving efficiency, and managing risk for a CHF 1 billion Application Delivery spend. This involved overseeing 8,500 external full-time positions. He later took on additional responsibilities for contract, commercial, and relationship management. Following UBS in 2018, David established Wilverley Consultancy Ltd, providing commercial advisory services to a top-tier global bank and a global information technology supplier. He has delivered value by working on various large-scale agreements and initiatives. He consistently delivers above and beyond expectations with a calm, methodical, diplomatic and good-humoured approach. David has an enviable record of enhancing contract performance and driving value improvement, drawing on his deep expertise in the complete life cycle commercial management of significant technology-based outsourcing contracts.
